Thompson and Levi sounds so much better than Levi and UPL.
He will probably cost UPL and a 2nd or more. Maybe even a mid level prospect too. Worth it to me. We are loaded with young talent.
Logan Thompson should be our #1 Goalie target over Demko, Gibson, Hellebuyck or anyone else. The contract and production would be perfect in buffalo. He won't be cheap though. You're not getting him for a UPL or Comrie alone. You probably need to add in an Ostlund and a 2nd rd pick.

Adams lacks the cajones for a major, significant trade. He's much too cautious and risk-averse and always goes the conservative route. I know Wayne states that this trade is no-risk, but it will require giving up some upcoming young talent, and Adams won't do that.

I think Adams is confident going with Levi & UPL if not I think he wouldve made a move by now. Unless hes waiting to see what the NHL aka Bettman is going to do to Carter Hart for his involvement with the Team Canada World junoiur fiasco .

Please no. Does anyone really think he would play as well behind Buffalo's defense as opposed to Vegas' defense ? IMO, he would be no better than Comrie or UPL.
He's cheap at least, nothing wrong with that. But comparing Vegas' stanley cup winning dmen to buffalo's dmen with Bryson, Clague, Pilut, Stillman… yeah, that's not a fair comparison.

Lehner, ugh! Everyone is talking about getting another goaltender and I can't help but be excited for the possible talent that we now have in the pipeline. Ratzlaff, Leinonen and the way that Fleming played in the second game of the prospect tourney, how could you not consider keeping him as well? I just hope that Adams makes trades that can add when subtracting.
