I really like the Captain’s ‘C’ in the Minnesota outline and the Northstars-colored State of Hockey patch. Otherwise, meh.

I went and bought a 2020 reverse retro off eBay yesterday because I was fairly certain I’d be underwhelmed by this new release. I was right!
This is great news. Honestly they look so much sharper on the ice. Should be more than a once in a blue moon jersey.

Hot take, but I think they should have done one of the Wild’s own retro jersey’s, not yet another update to the reverse retro ever since it came out…
I mean, this season we’ll have been around for 23 years now. 23! I think it’s about time that we use one of our now retro jerseys like the original greens or even something like the previous Minnesota Wild script ones back when those alternate jerseys were a thing.

They’re good jerseys. The captains patch is cool. I just wish we could get something new and fresh.
I wouldn’t be opposed to doing a “heritage night” a few games a year and just wearing these. But I’d prefer a wild sweater as a permanent alternate.
What’s the deal with buying these? Hope they’re available places other than the hockey lodge (like hockey authentic). Refuse to pay hockey lodge prices for sub par customization.
Love it just wish we used the M script or M logo instead and added the shooting star logo to the breezers.

Everyone making such a huge deal about alternate jerseys. I need the season to start. I think the northstar throwback style are pretty sharp, and most everyone here did too but it’s just getting a little old. But I’d still rock a KK97 one. They do look pretty sick on tv as a whole kit.
I’m more worried about our team this year. Not really excited for hockey as much. What’s wrong with me?!

Sounds like the Wild are making demands of their fanbase to like this or else.
Still dislike these. The forest green/cream alts with the script were the best, and they should have just kept those. The old team left and is now a division rival and the Wild have been here almost as long as the North Stars were. Go back into Wild history if you want throw backs, there is plenty there now.
