I’m a graphic and sports designer creating a series of new / revised jersey sets for each NHL team. If you’re interested in seeing the rest of the designs, they can be found on my Reddit and Instagram pages. I appreciate all feedback, so let me know what you think! Hope you enjoy it.
The Canucks have had many rebrands over their history, and I’ve been a fan of pretty much all of them. In my opinion, the Canucks have always had quality branding. However, I believe it’s time for the team to retire some of their branding and focus on one brand.
The Home and Away are slightly modified versions of their current uniforms. The orca logo and numbers include green in the palette. Most notably, a subtle Haida native pattern has been added to the green stripes.
The first alternate was inspired by the Canucks first uniforms featuring the rink logo. Surprisingly, the team has never had a green uniform, which is a shame, because I personally love their particular shade of green.
The second alternate features the classic Vancouver Millionaires logo. The sleeves were inspired by the controversial V jerseys of the late 70s. The collar is constructed of a sweater knit material.
The pattern on the green banding is really cool
Looks good. I think a green outline on the orca like you’ve done here would work wonders for making the set look more cohesive. One of my biggest criticisms of the current set is how copy-pasted the orca looks (because it was), but this suits the colour scheme much more.
These are really sharp! One suggestion I would make is to do more of a West Coast (P.N.W.) Indigenous pattern in the sleeves. The one it has now makes me think Aztec/Coyotes pattern
I would buy that Millionaires alt in a millisecond, great work.
Love jersey number 4
I love the green in the logo. Makes it look like it fits with the rest of the uniform instead of being off in its own.
I will buy the AWAY jersey if it becomes available. It looks clean and the green outline around the logo stands out.
I really like #4.
But we jsut got the black skate back. The blue and green is nice, but the variety the black skate provides is really nice

That stick in rink jersey is hotness, I’d buy for sure. Also great job making refinements to the main jerseys.

Other than the shoulder patches on the green jersey, it’s all a go for me, cap’n.
These are all pretty solid, nice job. I especially like the Millionaires’ one! Regarding the green in the orca, I agree with everyone who says that the lack of green makes it look unbalanced but to me the current design simply does not work with green. I love the orca as a primary logo though and I think it would be really cool to see an updated/redesigned version of the logo itself that incorporates blue, green and white naturally.
