The score doesn't really matter for this game it was more about how they just played a solid 60 minutes and went and got what was theirs. Sure one of Coronato's goals was a gimme, but he still made sure to put it in the back of the net and not just at the goalie. Like the Flames did all last season

Coaches make their decision as to what team to ice for the preseason for their own strategic and assessment reasons. The outcome, for the most part, is pretty much predetermined if you're icing your full NHL roster in the preseason. Why not ice a full NHL roster to get the confidence rolling on Calgary. Calgary had a brutally vicious debilitating season last year, from both an emotional and mental perspective. I 100% agree to kick off the new season with a big win – which again, was 100% predictable right from the ring of the bell.
Good for you and your excitement. After the season they had last year, I’m sure you are hoping a number of them are going to step up this year. In a tough division and as an Oilers fan I keep track in my head what the other teams in the division are doing in the pre season. Nothing major but spotting who seems to be ahead of expectations and those who need to finish healing for an old injury or just need to workout out.
