  1. If everything goes right for any team, they make the playoffs. lol

I am fully aware someone will come storming into reply with "Not if the team is bad!" Yes, but then they're not having much going right are they? Not even semantics. Just a learning disability.

  2. Thanks for the video Gents. Looking forward to the new season, but I don't know why…

  3. Even if the cap goes up 10 million dollars next year teams will have cap issues. The reason is that they will use the extra money to pay players and players will expect the team to be up against the cap to try and improve even when they are over paying players to get there.

  4. They should have stuck with Garrett it's a downgrade with the new guys and Ray talks to much.

  5. The whole Babcock thing was a head hunt and we all know it. None of you have spine enough to say it. Players like Jonny hockey can't handle being held accountable. Period.

  6. Tomlinson is the most stale, least entertaining, least interesting colour guy the Canucks have ever had. He gives Garry Monahan a run for his money. Remember Garry anyone? Doesn't matter how much you know. It's whether you are interesting to listen to when you speak. Budget. That was the only explanation I had for the Tomlinson (and what was the other guy) getting the Canucks gig. But they have gone back to the well. Who knows talent these days?

  7. Training camp used to be a month for the players to get in shape. Those were the days when players had to have offseason jobs. Since Orr, players started to be paid enough to not have to do that. So, they better be ready to play from Day 1 (of 3?).

  8. Shannon might be a nice guy but he needs to go where they put the Babcocks and Keenan's
of this world. Another piece of the 'old guard' that needs to adapt. GO just Go away

  9. "If everything goes right…" is the emptiest statement to make… If the Canucks win every game they will win the Stanley Cup… The problem is not if everything will go right, it's whether or not this management has assembled a team competitive enough to weather through the ups and downs of a normal regular season to be competitive and to contend. I think the team has made some incremental improvements, but this is still not a playoff team unless… well, everything goes right.

  10. all due respect to dave tomlison but the void left by john is massive and there was no chemistry between dave and john during the first per season game in calgary. i look forward to ray getting in there.
