Quick might be an issue as a backup
Lafreniere’s showing NOTHING(as usual) and quick SUCKED. All 3 shots were beyond stoppable. We’re in trouble this year. Lose the Lafreniere contract send quick to the minors bring up domingue and sell high on panarin do a retool (we never even did a rebuild to begin with anyways) and get a fresh start.
I'm not worried about what happens during the pre-season. I'm more or less looking at the younger kids who've made it to the pre-season roster to see how they perform. I liked like what I saw, from a few players despite the outcome of the game.

I think they looked pretty good in the 3rd. Could've had like 4 goals but hit the iron a few times and Bussi… wow. I could see him in the NHL very soon
This team has to learn how to become PHYSICAL. Same thing in the playoffs, they let the opposing team crowd the net. If they know they can do it to Igor to get him off his game they will do it to Quick which you saw last night.
