   The fact that he even has to put 1% of his focus on addressing this instead of enjoying himself annoys the piss out of me, just let him cook.

   I think Slafkovsky will end up a player who’s impact on the game isn’t directly reflected by points. I think he lacks the high-end puck skills other first overalls have, but his physicality, willingness to battle along the boards and in front of the net, and attitude will make him an unique piece to his team.

   In a vacuum, maybe he won’t be the best player from his draft, but I bet he’s going to be a crucial piece to the Habs when they’re making a push for the cup, and that’s all that matters.
