Colorado is going to own the Stars.
I understand thinking Nashville is good but what I don't understand is thinking they are good when thinking that other teams who have lost key players, but less, aren't. You ranked calgary out of a playoff spot when all they have lost is Toffoli whereas Nashville have lost Duchene, Johansen, Ekholm, and Granlund which I would say is way more damaging. Also I would think in terms of young players calgary would also come ahead of them as I think coronado and pelletier are more likely to have a solid season than tomasino.
I'm pretty sure when grav predicted the isles to win the division they missed the playoffs so I'm not too upset with his predictions this year
Having LA at 3 doesn’t make sense they do not have a good goaltending tandem with Talbot and Copley and there defence isn’t that good having Doughty still there

Keep sleeping on the Sabres. I don’t understand the disrespect toward a team that was one point out last year and got way better defensively. They can be legit top 3 in the division this year. I get other teams got better but the Sabres have the goal scoring to make it and if Levi plays good, they are in no doubt.

K, a couple issues. Buffalo will be second in the division, maybe 3rd behind Tampa. Jets will be above both Preds and Minnesota, could even see Arizona competing with Preds for a wild card. Also have Pittsburg missing for Ottawa beating them out.

Yes the sens and red wings are getting better, but the sabres still have that step on them. 1 point last year was all that stood between them and the cup. They're definitely gonna do something this year!

Pretty good prediction, though I think the Atlantic division is a major toss-up and a flip of the coin on who makes it and who doesn’t.
I don’t think that Boston will finish second, probably third with around 99-101 points, second division will either be Florida or Buffalo (yes, they are becoming legit – and this is coming from a Sens fan).
I can see a wild card fight between either Tampa Bay or Ottawa with Detroit just barely missing by a point or two.
Should make for a really interesting and intense season though! I’ll be paying verrrry close attention to the Atlantic.
