Very curious to see how Compher will look. Not that a preseason game will tell us much, but one of my big concerns was that his point totals spiked thanks to being thrust into a top line role with a stud in Rantanen on his wing. He’ll have NHL wingers, but bottom 6 guys, on his wing and you have to think Washington will have a decently strong lineup tonight.

I want to see a strong game from, he has to establish himself as more than being just a guy.
His contract is easily tradable/can be buried in GR if say Anisimov looks great these next 2 weeks

I’m hoping that Holl has a good game.
I’d bet the Caps are going to ice a near-NHL lineup as is tradition for home teams, so hopefully Holl can dispel some of his detractors concerns.

Kasper needs to show an offensive flair this game. Defensive game is great but that’s not gonna get him a ticket to the main show. Gotta score and show some presence in the O zone.

I wonder if their strategy for soderblom last year is what they’re doing with Edvinsson this year: give him as many games as possible and the best possible chance to show he should be on the roster over someone

Stoked to see Kasper, Cossa and Lyon. Looks like Edvinsson might be getting the opportunity to play his way onto the roster too. But, maybe that’s just wishful thinking after all the FA signings.
