Have to assume he gets picked up given the rumoured trade interest. Struggled last season (understandably) but was an absolute legend in ’21/’22, hope he lands on a good team and all the best to him.

    Goodbye sweet prince

Still remember early last year people on this sub were saying Martin was the better goalie and we should trade Demko

Im guessing we see Martin clear, make it to Abbotsford.

Then after he clears waivers, he gets traded for some forward/defender making 1-way money that is destined for the minors.

    Basically another teams Jack Rathbone.

He’s a good goalie but not NHL good. Top corner blocker or glove side will beat him every time

Guess we’ll see if those Colorado rumors were true or not. I don’t think Spencer is the answer to their goaltending problems. If he is, their goaltending must be a helluva lot worse than ours. Martin is 4th on most depth charts, behind Silovs, DeSmith and Demko. Lol.

Good for Martin for landing that 2 year 1 way deal. Gonna make a big difference for him financially

Normally we eat at the waiver wire buffet….maybe losing a player to waivers is a good sign.

Martin went from unsung hero to waiver wire pretty fast. This shows how tough it is to be a #1 goalie in this league.
