People are freaking out for no reason. This is AMAZING news considering this is probably the injury he was talking about in the Playoffs and it was a successful surgery that hopefully fixed it. 8-10 weeks put us at the end of November, so barely even into the season and plenty of hockey for him to get into the groove of things and get us into the playoffs.
Good. Give the man REST. Hopefully Jojo will step it up on backup.

I get that the initial reaction is to freak out but half of the conference makes the playoffs. Just tread water at around .500 until big cat is healthy and we have a decent shot at the playoffs

Back surgery is never a good thing at this point in his career. Wish him well but hope this doesn’t turn into a Bishop situation earlier than expected.
Dude had a good surgery. He gets to rest. This is great. Dudes been carrying us for years. Well needed. We will be fine. This sub freaks out the first 2 months of the season anyways

Good news. I mean not great but he played pretty poorly with the injury.
This is going to be a rough couple months with a third string goalie on most teams as our starter. Hopefully it doesn’t cost us a playoff spot, the Atlantic and Wildcard race is going to be tough this year
