No need to rush him into NHL service. We have a solid D corp as it is locked up for YEARS to come. Plus we have Aho and Bolduc and several others almost ready to make the jump should a spot open up. Let the guy get comfortable in the minors and when he’s ready it will be about time to change out the old guard anyway.
Our defense is not an issue, our offense is. We have guys capable of so much more. I just can’t figure out what holds them back.
Completely expected. Defenseman take longer to develop and we have an absolutely solid 6 core with depth that’s decent enough to slow roll his development.
