  1. Patrick Kane to the oilers would not fix hardly any of the Oilers “problems” sure it would add some scoring depth which they need badly, but without a defense and a subpar goalie that is hardly going to matter come playoff time.

  2. The real question is what is he gonna sign for and for how long. I don’t think anybody’s taking him over 5 AAV but it could be smart for him to sign something like 3.5 for 4 years with an up n coming team like Buffalo or Detroit

  3. After all of those years destroying Vancouver in the playoffs except 2011 he takes his talents to Hollywood North 😂

  4. "we won't be seeing him doing any spinorama backhanders or heartbreaker celebrations, he's not gonna be that Patrick Kane"

Kane has 2 spinorama goals in his career, and the 2nd one was 2 seasons ago w the broken hip. he just had a goal in the playoffs w an even more broken hip that was one of the best plays of his entire career. and he still celebrates like mad and will score huge goals. he will absolutely do that level of celebration again if he scores another OT winner in the playoffs. the flashy superstar big play player will remain, if the surgery was successful. there is no other version of Kane.

"his time in NY was a disaster"

he was their best forward in the playoff series, their only fwd with 6 points who wasn't a minus, and in the two elimination games had more ixG in both games than any other LINE on the team. also more ixG than Jack Hughes in the elimination games. also had more points than Hughes and the same +/-.

  5. I think a lot of people underestimate Patrick Kane nowadays. Considering that he's had a injury and STILL been almost 1ppg is remarkalbe. He is still one of the best players in the league, and it's a shame that the blackhawks don't have him on their rooster.

  6. Thank you for acknowledging he isn't washed. Guy played for a dumpster fire last year that traded away every last talent there was around him. He played on one hip with 3rd line players. Why would he fight through that pain to bring a 32nd place team a few spots higher? He's too old to play his heart out for a team that has no interest in winning. He can easily put up 100+ in a full season on a competent team.

  7. I’d love for Kane to do well but people do not appreciate how major his surgery was. This isn’t like fixing a broken arm. Most players of any sport who have this surgery do not return to being nearly the same player. In fact in a 10 year span around half of pros who get this surgery retired the next season after returning.

  8. I can promise u sunrise Florida is not an attractive draw for players considering the other teams in the NHL lol

  9. Wouldn't mind him here in Buffalo, but he's not the type of player we need. We have enough scoring. We need a guy who can put up depth points but more importantly play physical, on the backend and on the forecheck. I'd be excited to see him in a Sabres uniform, but I'll believe it when I see it. Kevyn Adams seems to try to get in on everything around the league so I take things like this with a grain of salt.

  10. I hope it’s the oilers, don’t know how they are going swing that. Be sweet. He would be a great fit in Florida. I think he’s got a lot more in the tank than people might think
