Very impressed with Jarventie this preseason
Tarasenko says “thank you” to stutzle 🎉😂 love it
Mandolese was on point tonight
1:23 Can someone please explain to me Wtf Stu is doing on this goal against? He’s literally just standing there watching people play hockey. Lol Didn’t try to disrupt a pass, or tie up a stick, anything. I love yeah, Timmy. And it’s preseason. But come on.
How are you a professional hockey broadcaster, and you don’t have a clue that Jarventie is Finnish, and his name is pronounced YAR-VEN-TEE-É? I get not knowing the two separate vowel sounds for the last two letters, but the guy doesn’t know Finns, like pretty much every European that plays in the league, says their Js like a J?
I don’t know why it pisses me off. lol I guess cuz it seems lazy to me. Like these guys don’t bother to learn the names of the guys they’re covering. I don’t care if it’s an AHLer in a preseason game. You’re a professional, do five minutes of research for Pete’s sake
Edit: The play by play guy calls him Yarventie most of the time. It’s the colour guy that’s pissing me off.
