Eugene update: we are still in ice-less purgatory but shout out to the UO hockey team for winning their first game of the season last night at a rink 2.5 hours away, despite having had zero tryouts or practices beforehand lol. Didn’t go so well tonight but who can blame ’em
Rink won’t even tell their own employees how things are going or give an opening timeline so that’s great… 🙄 They’re ReAdY To pAiNt though!
The local figure skating club is talking about potentially having no holiday fundraiser or showcase this year now because of the situation. Yay.
