    Re: Vasilesky: this is a HUGE blow to the Lightening. Look at the 3 goalies they have in the system….they have ZERO meaningful experience. They say you can't win the Cup in the fall BUT you can LOSE THE CUP in the fall and if "Vas" is out through game 28-30 that could be a huge blow to that team's hopes to win the Cup. Why the heck didn't he have surgery this summer???? Crazy!!!!
    Re: Pitlick on waivers: someone will pick him up I bet. He was a great role player for the Habs with good journeyman skills. He'd be a good 3rd or 4th line winger for some team.

    Re: Connor Bedard: I know you didn't discuss him but wanted to throw out there that it should be great fun to watch him in his Blackhawks preseason debut this evening. I'm hoping this kid is the real deal and has a great season.

    WOWsa!!! This is breaking news, indeed– Vasilevskiy out long-term is very , very bad for the Lightning, as he is one of the best–wondering how they rebound from this massive loss.

    …………….Yep, we're screwed. Tampa's screwed. Uh, they've got no backup goaltender worth anything nowadays. And Killorn leaving, you know, them kind of pissing off Stamkos. There's no unity, they're just in it for the bang for the buck. Yeah, Tampa's rain at the top is over, so. We won't be seeing a cup in Tampa again for at least 10-15 years. The magic in a bottle that Yzerman created is gone. None of the Tesla coils at the stadium can recharge this team. I doubt they even make the playoffs this year. That's how upset and disappointed I am with the last events of recently, but. Is life.🥲
