  1. I mean slafkovsky learned alot since last year and its because he's been playing in the NHL , so I dont think they Will send him to the minors but if they do , IT would still be understandable

  2. Bedard in the top 50 NHL players already is a crazy take, i understand all the hype and he's talented i also believe he's gonna be THE best player in the world one day, but wait for him to play a season damnit.

  3. If this was last year I would say absolutely but this year I dont see the point. They blew it last year, he should have went down last year.

  4. Ovechkin dominates physically as well as being a scoring machine. He's top 50 any day of the week. Who scores that many goals and destroys guys with his body …. right. No one.

  5. Leafs suck they will never win another cup they have no heart period! Now Montreal they will win a cup in 3 to 5 years there building a solid team wait and see.

  6. Listen by now if there are still questions at all regarding if should Slav go down to the AHL or not then the answer is YES because you know 100% when a player is NHL ready and it is nothing wrong with that!!! But fans think it's like a DEMOTION when in actuality it for gaining experience and confidence & will prove more fruitful long term!!!

  7. Bedard in the top 50 right out of the gate and having Ovie out of it is just crazy. He's done nothing to earn a top 50 status even if he goes on to have an incredible rookie season . To me this is a hotter take than having Hamilton in the top 50.

  8. Hey TSN, please add timestamps to the video. I don't have time to watch a 45 minute video. Thanks.

  9. Hamilton > Ovechkin is just correct. Hamilton is a top 12 defenseman and Ovechkin is a top 20 winger.

  10. Sorry Hayes but if you really think Ovi shouldn't be on this list, you're 100% playing contrarian on purpose. Just come on now.

  11. Love the Kyle Connor and Alex Tuch acknowledgements. Two of my favorite players in the league.

  12. I think Slafkovsky should have been playing in the AHL last year. Hard to say its too late, but i agree, he needs to play big minutes. Not sure why they didnt give him more time last year since they were going nowhere in the standings, but for some reason they played like they were trying to make the playoffs (pointing to MSL).
I believe Habs would have had a big shot at Bedard or at least top 3 had they not made the play to get Monahan, and had they went ahead and traded Anderson. Would have been a lock to get a top 3 pick again.
We blew that, and most likely will finish bottom 5 this year again with a ton of Dmen predicted to be around that area at the draft.
Again, not sure how that will help the habs, as they need another 2-3 Elite level players, and not sure if Slaf will be one, although i expect him to still be a solid winger in the next 3-5yrs

  13. This is my opinion but given the game is going smaller and faster I honestly don't think it matters as much how big u are to make it in the NHL.
