McTavish was quite solid with Terry I imagine they stay together maybe? Also if things work out the way we want wouldn’t we have to move one of our top 3 Cs to a wing? If so who would it be

So 1:1 the last years lineup that led us to the last place just with a rookie instead of Lundestrom and veteran presence in Killorn.

Hope Cronin can come up with sth else since this lineup made us the dead last in scoring last year. and if we suppose that Z and McT develop while Rico, Silf, Strome deteriorate then we can expect us to be even worse this year.

Carlsson would be better suited with mctavish honestly. Otherwise it’ll work, especially if we get more offense from the blue line this season.

    Carlsson with Silfverberg? Poor kid.

I just can’t stop thinking why we didn’t pick up Tolvanen on waivers last year.

Our bottom 6 is horrible. Henrique is probably gonna be shipped off, so that’ll be another hole past February. We need to pick up a guy that can score goals

i think carlsson should be in sweden or AHL on the top line to progress more. I dont think him being on the 3rd line on this team is going to help him excel to where he could be down in AHL or SHL on top line.

Z should be on the wing with Henrique at center

First two lines I do by age, which is old hockey vs new hockey and my centers are by speed and wings by power.

    McTavish – Zegras – Terry

    Killorn – Henrique – Strome
The rest can be as OP posted.

I would switch Henrique and Killorn and probably Silf and McGinn. Those are quibbles, though. I like it otherwise.

I have a strong suspicion, though, that we’re going to see a lot of Zegras on the wing this season.

Carlsson needs more support if we want him to develop.

Option 1 flip Henrique and Vatrano. Get a little more talent with Carlsson this way. Zegras and Terry should be able to still able to play their game with Vatrano.

Option 2 move Zegras to wing and Henrique to center. Flip Terry and Silfverberg. Carlsson gets Terry to help with scoring. Zegras doesn’t have to worry about defense at all with Silfverberg and Henrique playing all the defense and he can just cherry pick getting him long passes on the zone exit and do his thing.

Lines 2 and 4 are fine as is

I don’t think this will look as bad as we think it will. Zegras, McTavish, and Terry should all continue to get better and so should our young D. Yes, we were bad last year with a similar roster but they should be better than last year.

Looking it in the eyes I just have to wonder could 14.9 million have not been better spent than Killorn/Strome/Vatrano. Having a summer just thinking about stud young dmen, I forgot about the lineup, and woof not good.

Looks awful but not as awful as the defensive pairings.

In training camp the Killorn – Carlsson – Terry line looked pretty good

This is the best ducks roster I’ve seen in a few years.
