Absolutely floored. And to top it off our best young player takes a big hit and the end of the game and nobody bats an eye. What the fuck is this team

Have Huberdeau-Lindholm made even one cerebral play in the pre-season?

Like seriously, even one?! One flash to show those two will work. They’ve shown nothing together whenever they’ve played, and we just wasted a pre-season to reinforce what happened last pre-season and early regular season when they couldn’t make a play 5 on 5.

I’m anticipating a rough start to this one boys. Hope I’m dead wrong and those two light it up, but man.

Huberdeau at 10.5 is simply devastating.

A little concerning with the lack of effort and execution at this point in the pre-season.

Lets hope for much better on opening night.

Lol we’re gonna be bad this year. I expect pick 15

I really hope we are waiting to extend lindholm or even hanifin if that’s even possible. This preseason has not inspired confidence.

    Our goaltending looks the same

Hube and lindholm don’t look like a good line. If Hube can’t get to at least a ppg player we should be in retool mode for sure. We are toast with out that.

This is preseason so I’m just going to enter the season with a blank slate in my mind. But please don’t overpay these players without seeing if we can win.

lmaooo the pre season doomers are out in full force

The players will be 100% responsible if they fuck up. They got the change that they wanted

    Preseason.

Let’s see what we look like by december

I like Backlund and Linholm. But what exactly are we trying to do by signing them?

We aren’t contenders. Should have been rebuilding.

That 10-0 win against the Canucks AHL team means squat now that both were using their opening roster players tonight.

Kids, can you lighten up a little?

where is sutter? i need to point my finger at him

  14. marbsarebadredux

Huberdeau might be the worst thing to happen to this team. We are so fucked if he keeps playing like this.

Holy one bad preseason game and the sky is falling down

Really hope this was just them getting all the boring hockey out of their systems because otherwise, yikes.

Beginning to think this group of forwards just doesn’t work. The construction was obviously haphazard and it shows with how little chemistry they all have with each other. I guess that’s the silver lining; if things go south then Conroy should have the ability to reshape this roster quickly what with all the UFA’s and RFA’s. Assuming he hasn’t re-signed them all before that.

People telling us not to overreact. As though we haven’t seen this same script year after year lol.

But people will keep buying tickets for a mediocre product. And we will be the oldest team in the league filled with vets who are overpaid and aren’t good enough to get it done.

I get they don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt, but at least let them play games that matter before declaring them bad.
