Sending Nemec down, may actually hurt his confidence a bit. Tonight, wasn’t a depleted Islanders line-up, by any means. In fact, I believe they iced their full regular season team, and Nemec looked damn solid out there, against NHLers. Another year in Utica is, in my opinion, WASTED year of this kids career. I really, really believe, that when it all shakes out down the road, Nemec, will be a better overall defenseman, than Luke. From the starting point of Simin’s career, he really didn’t have any true comparable. This team, will have two of the finest defenseman, to ever hit the ice….at the SAME TIME! The ‘decade of disappointment,’ is somehow feeling very much WORTH IT.
Nemec should absolutely be in the line up I think he’s earned himself some games at the very least and Miller can play down for a bit he will be playing some games up too such great depth this team has.

Most teams would be happy with Mercer on their first line at least 10 teams. Just saying. Also Nemec, would at least be a 2nd line center now, easily.
