Your videos are really fascinating!👍
Dumbest I’ve ever heard. They can’t even pay their players what they should
Just watched a "the Hockey Guy" video on this topic lol
I think expansion is a dangerous thing. I guess there are markets but the quality of the teams gets washed out.. even more teams cant win the cup.. why every sport has to growth? Why not just keep the league in good shape.. try to exchange teams that doenst work.. like arizona.. i would rather have 32 teams max and the teams have to deliver a revenue and fans that show up. If they let down. Dont sell.. then open up the spot like a job vacancy.. the league doesnt need more teams.. nhl should stand for quality not as many as possible..
Quebec damnit!!!!
Unless they have a tax adjusted salary cap I'm done giving a cent to hockey. 40 years watching this Canadian teams just don't have the depth to win 16 games. Tampa only play like 8 times in Canada. I would like to hear how much money is saved.
Release the Petterson interview already!
"Verbeek is such a good negociator"
*Gives the moon to Killorn
Nordiques de Québec please
I like cash too, you are not alone
You can expand the league as much as you want, but if you can't get your product to consumers, you won't grow. And that's where we're at now. You can watch most games for your local team on cable, but that's one team (and IF you have cable). If you want to watch a different team, it's going to cost you $250, and casual fans won't pay that. So how do you grow if you can't attract more viewers?
NHL to Houston ! Houston Sonics ! Let’s gooooo
Bily G. STOP GIVING AWAY NMCS!!! We don't want to have to protect a bunch of old guys. Again.
Im Mixed on Expansion with further teams. I want to see the Nordiques return and I think theres enough talent in modern hockey to support say 4 more franchises but once it hits 36 I think that should be the limit for another 20-30 years before people talk about going to 40. The real question is Money is obviously the generating factor, How much does the NHL want to expand to before it stretches itself too thin here in terms of resources? I think going beyond 36 teams over anywhere close to the next 10 years will be detrimental to the league as a whole. You also have leases and other franchises like Arizona to worry about for the current time and close future. I think the next expansion may be 2-4 teams but after that It probably needs to stop for a while so the league can focus on supporting the current franchises and their situations.
listening to Elliotte describe Zegras and Drysdales contrasting personality’s is quite funny considering they’ve lived together for three years and are extremely close friends. I guess they balance each other out but idk how those two manage to spend so much time with each other….
