Not being salty, but it’s partly a popularity contest. Maccelli last year is a good example. I didn’t expect him to win, but his PPG and other stats had him tied with the other front runners. Even if not winning it, he should’ve gotten more votes, but…Coyotes, so he didn’t.

Even if Cooley blows it out of the water, it’ll still be Bedard or a newer name on a more hyped team as long as they’re close enough.

I already placed a bet he wins it. The odds are so far against him, if he pulls it off I’ll be happy lol

I think Bedard is a better player but Cooley is going to have a better season. Chicago isn’t going to be anywhere near the playoffs and if we can manage to sneak in we might get a Cooley Calder and Touringy Jack Adams (which would be awesome because I put bets on both of those in June haha)

Bedard likely has more goals, but id bet cooley puts up more points. Cooley has support, Bedard is gonna be all alone to produce on that hawks roster.

Itll come down to the difference.

There is a real chance that if the team makes the playoffs, Cooley is a serious calder candidate and Tourigny is for adams.

So much can happen in a season. Injuries are the first thing I think of when they try to predict stuff like this.

The other thing is that both the Yotes and Chicago are trying to develop future talent, not win right now, so if they are disciplined they will focus on development, not numbers. The Makar situation was a little different because they were contenders.

Hopefully Cooley turns into a generational talent like the world has never seen! It is possible!

Cooley is on a better team but Bedard is too good. Barring I dont see any chance Cooley takes it
