Is it just me or does Lucas just not look like an NHL caliber defenceman? I’m happy to eat crow for this take, but he just seems to light and to slow desicion-wise

This was evident when he wasn’t waived on Sunday. I think he will end up waived later this week. He’s on the roster right now for cap management purposes

I just don’t get it. He was terrible throughout the camp and preseason. He looks like Bowey just making dumb decisions after holding the puck for too long. He was great in the playoffs for Hershey but he isn’t up to the level of competition here.
Last game he got the puck in the corner from Kuemper who was behind the net. LuJo then passed it to the slot directly in front of an empty net to nobody in particular. Just inexcusable.
Yeah they don’t want to lose him on waivers because Mac said they plan to use a dozen Dmen because it’s a long season and injuries happen – but he’s going to cost us games we can’t afford to lose. Every point matters this year
