I just don’t see how this team has real change without moving a big piece. They need to correct their bottom and top 6 and their defence plus need to play Samberg and Heinola. I know how people talked about calagry and they didn’t trade gaudreau and only hired Sutter but they also got rid of giordana and added solid depth guys such as Coleman. They still made changes to their core and culture. Other examples is when the blues traded stastny back in 2018 and retooled which gave them a cup the following year. Other examples such as the wild moving Parise and Suter and look where they are now.
