Pretty funny about the outcry of Andy on line one when he was clearly one of the best wingers during the preseason lol we’ve also seen success with that trio before. I think once Dvo comes back then Mony takes that 1RW spot

“Earn” is a bit of a strong word here. Anderson gets opportunity after opportunity almost solely because of his size. Being given the chance to play on the top line (again) is certainly not because of his production (dude has broken 32pts exactly once in his 10 year NHL career).

Personally think this is a mistake (not like an important mistake or whatever). Personally I think this line works for a few games and then it kinda falls apart, it’s been done multiple times and I think RHP has proven to be the right linemate for line 1.

  4. Lines can change in the moment they don’t start working out. These type of stories happen at the beginning of every season but they are almost never a big deal

    I think it’s mostly because he’s a Leafs killer

It’s ok. The Leafs are his bitches.

    Earned or lack of depth?

This means nothing. It’s like gallagher on third and rhp on fourth. Rhp could end up on first in 2 games while gallagher could be benched in 10.

He’s a leafs killer and he usually has an extra step in his game early in the season. He’s an adrenaline type of player.

I’m fine with this. It’s not like anyone else has stepped up and he has had a good preseason.
