Why not move Pinto and Norris together.Pinto could be a top or second line center in Calgary.Norris isn't getting the proper rehab after surgery and is getting hurt far too much.Maybe Calgary could rehab him from surgery.
Pinto,Norris,Hamonic,Brannstrom,Lassi Thomson and Egor Sokulov for Lindholm,Ruzzika and Weegar.Maybe Washington's 2nd round pick for 2024.

Re: Dahlin: that's a chunk 'o change but after several years of mediocrity as he grew in talents and skills he's finally arrived as an elite rearguard. I'm not sure he's worth that $$$ amount but no doubt he's worth a solid pay increase. I ali think because the Sabres sucked the player struggled but now that the Sabres are a better team Dahlin's play has improved.
Re: Robertson: tough for that kid to be bypassed yet again for a spot on the Leafs roster. I appreciate he was injured the past couple of seasons but the kid's got talent and was healthy this preseason and looked good. If I'm him….I'm asking for a trade. No fun languishing in the minors season after season.
Re: Pettersson: he's the centre-piece of that franchise and the Canucks had better lock this kid in for the next 8 years & fast! The kid's from Sweden and the Sedin twins need to exert some Swedish influence on this kid and get him signed.
Loaning AHL players always confused me. Like if I’m Tampa what benefit am I getting do they get paid for it or something? If not why would I spend money on developing another teams guy and even take away playing time from my prospects
I’m sure the Sabres would have loved to lock Dahlin in on an 8 year deal two years ago, after his ELC was up. Nobody knows if he & his agent would agree to the price at that time. As far as his current deal is concerned of course he’s worth the
money. Former #1 overall pick, only 23 years old and rapidly becoming the generational offensive
defenseman he was projected as leading up to his draft.

pettersson reminds me of marion hossa. jumping from team to team to win a cup instead of staying with the team that drafted him and being part of the solution.

Re Jake Muzzin being hired as a leaf scout, the former player you're trying to think of is Ben Bishop. Couple of years ago he was hired by a club to be on their staff, but the NHL ruled because he was still being paid on LTIR by Dallas that it was a conflict of interest. So after sitting out a year he was good to go.
Still baffles me that Pinto is not signed. 🤷🤷. Robertson and a pick to Kings for Turcotte.

Dahlin deal with the Sabres is a win-win . Matt Murray is DONE as a player, his contract is LTIR for the rest of his career, IMHO.
Petterson has one season as a point a game player . If i was canucks management i would want to see him do it again .

Love your assessment on Dahlin. Definitely struggled (along with the entire team. Especially Skinner) under coaches like Krueger.
I was never a Robertson fan, but to be fair he had some good opportunities in the pre season but couldn't finish. I think he's too small and appears to be fragile… (hey. that's Italian – Christmas Story)
I hope he finds a place on another team where he can flourish with other young fellas who can grow and flow together.
