Love watching this team. Will it be different without Bergeron. Yes, most definitely, yes. But the start of a new chapter brings a lot of nervous excitement. I think most of the doom sayers believe the team has zero good prospects

Poitras played this preseason knowing his chance to make the team was on the line. Another year in the OHL versus finally living out your childhood dream of playing in the big leagues. Low qual..I think this season will be a long a frustrating one. I have prepared myself for some mediocre hockey… with this mediocre roster. But this is how you build.. gotta take your lumps.

I'm hyped. They'll be a more grizzly team and they'll have to work harder for their wins, but I honestly think that's best for them.

Heyy thx for the shoutout that was me who commented about the penalties, and yea I totally agree we lost some solid pk players like nosek and foligno, hoping we can get some guys to step up, but idk why I just never get worried about this team, were supposed to be just “ok” every year but we always do so well, I think this year is gonna be really fun to watch either way

All the messages you're getting from internet trolls are from those who don't play the game. They sit on the internet looking at things. They don't actually lace up or know what the hell they're talking about.
Many many teams have done the same. Bruins did it in 1971, Tampa did it in 2019-and both times they came back the following year to win the freaking cup

If we could somehow figure out how to have stick discipline we wouldnt be anywhere near top 5 in PIMs. The Bruins get an insane amount of high sticking penalties.

It's because he's a diamond in the ruff. I talked about him for months. Read up on all our picks. Frankly because everyone is on Sweeney about nor drafting well. I was like, this Poitras kid, from highlights looks alot like Bergy style. Maybe someday. He's a second round pick, so I guess we'll see! Fast forward to now, he's on the frickin team. Wow right! Well he's earned it. And, I think he's gonna stay. I really do. Remember, Bergy, Cros, Nate, Mathews, Mc Jesus. They all stayed at 19,20 years old. Just because Poitras isn't a 1st round pick, 1 to 5, doesn't mean this guy can't make and stay on this team!! Just so you guys remember. Luc Robitialle was a 9th round pick!! Ended up being one of the greatest wingers of all time. Scoring nearly 700 Goals and 16 hundred plus pts! So I'm not saying Poitras is Lucky Luc. But I'm saying don't let it fool you because he's not a top 1st rounder he can't become or play like one! Food for thought. Cheers.
I will not calm down until Heinen is released from the PTO! That guy maaaan. I would rather watch paint dry, that to watch this guy dump the puck in the ozone and go for a change every damn shift he plays…creativity 0, skating 0, scoring 0, killer instinct -10…Dump him fast!
Poitras isn't a bottom six forward. I'd be concerned with him pairing up against the other teams 1st line. Will he be killing penalties?
