Interesting to me that you sign a one year extension before the season even starts. If you were going to keep him only one extra year wouldn’t you wait until later do this? Could be a trade coming maybe?

Kind of weird timing, but I guess with Robinson and Roslovic being UFA’s, this locks in a bottom 6 forward at a very reasonable cap hit. Good bit of business, especially if he can stay healthy and produce consistently this season

Deserved. He’s a great utility player and I don’t think it was fair to him or us that his labrum injury took him out for all of last year

I feel like we’ve never really seen what this guy can do. I’ve gone long stretches of forgetting he was even on the team, which tends to happen when role players miss the whole year.
