Incredible that media & mgt don't see the massive problem w him -stats & pay padded via McD/PP.. but is not a Dman at all !! They rely so much on McD.
Certain players did not show up. Defense was lousy. Missing in action was Evander Kane. Bouchard was awful. Brown struggled after long absence from knee surgery
Complaining about them throwing the first powerplay unit out and bringing in the backup to replace their sick goalie…. Dont let 8 in then. you probably should have gave them campbell or skinner, theres a chance it could have been tied 8-8 going into ot
Where’s all the comments about Mcdavid being the best in the league now? All the hate towards Matthews but he got 3 tonight. Mcdavid and all the supporting cast are huge liabilities out there. There’s more too the game then just offence.
I'm gonna assume he didn't know Demko was sick. Also they were rolling PP1 because they respect how dangerous the Oilers offense is. The Canucks understand from experience that the Oilers can out of nowhere score 3 quick ones and be right back in the game.
