All I have to say is I didn't even know a goal song was being played when they first scored hell I wouldn't even be able to tell you what it was for the rest of the goals
The song is a great song but it just isn't a good goal song imo that's a more chill vibes kinda song.. what they need is a more upbeat song something along the lines of You Shook Me All Nite Long by AC/DC, Let's Get It Started by Black Eyed Peas, Party Up DMX, Tsunami by DVBBS ft Borgeous, Burn It To The Ground by Nickelback, Blitzkrieg Bop by Ramones, Derp by Bassjackers ft MAKJ
I also think they should have a separate song they play when they come out & when they win but I never had an issue with there previous goal song it always got me going during the playoffs so if the next song can do the same then it's fine with me

Steve's reviews might be even more entertaining than the games. No one should take the Habs lightly this year. They're not a playoff team, but they can ruin playoff chances for others (says this Habs fan).

Hey Steve! The new goal song promotes doing drugs and driving drunk! How do you feel about MLSE having a song that promotes these things. I’m sure some sponsors will not be happy about it.
Because I'm too old, I had never heard the new Leafs goal song. After listening to just the first few lines of lyrics, I question whether it's an appropriate choice. For my generation, it would be like using "Gin and Juice."

Well, another season of LFR begins. A great way to start it off with a Leafs win. Kind of sorry Iggy missed that third V.P., but let's not count the Leafs out of the Cup just yet. Still got a lot of Hockey to play in '23/'24.
As an aside, Tampa Bay also won their season opener!
