[Faber] Le premier but de la saison AHL revient à… Vasily Podkolzin ! Il marque en avantage numérique avec les passes décisives pour Arshdeep Bains et Christian Wolanin.

Faber also [tweeted](https://x.com/chrisfaber39/status/1712846128709034107?s=46&t=7fabqgtgp69dNA1d51vxFw) earlier today that the game is streaming for FREE on AHLtv, you just need to create an account. Tomorrow’s game will also be free.

[This](https://x.com/abbycanucks/status/1712966446459085227?s=46&t=7fabqgtgp69dNA1d51vxFw) is the lineup for Abby, Podz is playing on the first line.

Plus: Tom Willander is making his debut for BU tonight, he’s on the [third pair](https://x.com/terrierhockey/status/1712970331659583572?s=46&t=7fabqgtgp69dNA1d51vxFw) with other Canucks prospect Aiden Celebrini 👀

And ICYMI, Lekkerimaki scored his 5th goal in 9 games yesterday (Joulevi was on the ice for the goal against..). [Video](https://x.com/chrisfaber39/status/1712543285242450353?s=46&t=7fabqgtgp69dNA1d51vxFw) again thanks to Faber who keeps up with all the prospects!

Is this supposed to impress us? We scored 8 the other night. Don’t need him anymore.

Honestly, the best thing that could happen for Podkolzin right now is that he stay down in Abbotsford for a while, play on the top line & PP, get super familiar with the systems (which are supposed the same as Vancouver’s), and build his confidence.

I still believe that he can be a dominant player if he hits his ceiling. The more we put him on the path toward achieving that, the better.

It’s so nice to have them close to home in Abbotsford, I still can’t believe we had to have players cooking in Utica, or Winnipeg or Chicago or KC or Syracuse or Milwaukee..

He’s still ONLY 22. Sure it’s a bit later than you’d want for a 10th OA pick, but he’s got the next 2 years to really become a strong NHLer. If he tears it up in the A this year, that’s nothing but good news. “If”….

trade him while he still has some value. benning was a terrible talent evaluator
