Tom Wilson is a real piece of trash, dude waited for a puck to hit a player just enough distraction to go instigate a fight while the refs were distracted so he wouldnt get the mandatory 1 game suspension. Smart guy he is, but a real piece of shit.
Watch the play over. I was informed by someone that potentially Pettersson took a run at wilson, so lets give the benefit of the doubt there. But here is the chain of events, this potential run happens, Tommy gets all hot under the collar, he was far away from pettersson when Accieri took the puck, he practically beelines as soon as the whistle happens, heading straight for Marcus(point one against Tom as an instigator, distance traveled). In that time, a ref has skated behind the net, looking towards Accieri, Tom waits until that ref is fully in front of Pettersson so he cant see, then grabs Marcus(menacing attitude, potential verbal instigation? 2 more instigator points against tom). Pettersson does what he knows he has to and throws down his gloves albeit in self defense. Then add in that if that run did happen, it was clearly retalitory for something else that happened earlier(another tick against Tom).
