You don’t even need to read the article for this. Both are excellent puck carriers and wasting a lines ability to break in the zone would just not be the move yet especially since both are training to be centers.
On the powerplay it’s a different story, Bedard is one of the point men on the draw so you still need a center. Add in the fact Reichel is probably our best playmaker and is a pass first player, maybe just maybe some sneaky cross zone passes could be made with a player like him to set up Bedard. I’m excited.
