There were some awful penalties and some awful reffing this game. Not even the refs could save the Trashville Smellyturds from us though. They couldn’t even get a sliding goal on net 😂
I really hope they try a game or two with Poitras in 2c and Coyle in 3c. Coyle's a puck hog (affectionately), and that doesn't jive as well with Marchand's play style. Coyle's fantastic in that third line and I think Poitras' penchant for playmaking vs puck hogging will work really well with his second line linemates.
I've never been a Coyle fan. From day 1 I saw him as an over paid under performer. His career with the Bruins has proven me right. Now this year, putting him where Bergeron was, just killed that line. He is holding that line back. Bruins management seem to love him and I have no idea why. At 5.25 million a year you should be getting a hell of a lot more production than his usual 15 goals. He is out of his depth as a 1st or second line center.

That game had no right to be that intense
The third line is hot
This game was difficult too watch with all the penalties
Way too many penalties but at least the kill is still a+
The PK is still in top form.

Whistles have been up bog time around the league. Lots of ticky tack. Usually as season goes along the calls come down
