For once I felt like we had a chance to score at the end of a close game… that’s a positive
Great effort from the boys, just have to work on special teams and stay disciplined
0/7 on the PP. I didn’t know it could get any worse than the Heins era, holy shit.
Me thinks special teams might be an issue for the Nashville Predators to work on.
I see our PP hasn’t changed. I know the bruins have a good PK, but 0/7 is still bad
What a frustrating game. We played better than those rats just couldn’t get the bounces.
Another big W for the refs
Very entertaining hockey. The boys had my eyes glued to the tv, felt we could score at any moment.
Fuck the refs and Boston Rats. PP movement looks promising but needs work.
Really need Forsberg to get going, he’s a huge piece we’re missing currently but his line had a lot of chances.
Good game from the boys. PP let us down unfortunately, and that lucky bounce on Boston’s PP in the first sucked. Penalty shot call was iffy just like the one in Tampa, but it is what it is. We’re much more entertaining to watch and these games have been very hard fought.
Playing this well so early is very exciting. We kept a cup favorite on their heels for a lot of that game. Bullshit penalty shot again. Bad and missed calls. Hard to beat that combo.
I missed what I assume was a Trenin hit on Ratface, anyone have a link yet? I’ll even take a description
I didn’t really get a chance to keep up with preseason but from what I’ve seen these last few games, I like this team. Barrie, Nyquist, McDonagh, and R’OR all feel have a good presence, Sissons is off to a great start, and the other young guys are gonna get there I think.
Number 1 thing we gotta work on is the PP. It’s pretty embarrassing to have nothing to show from it so far, especially with a 4 minute PP today and a 5 on 3 yesterday. Forsberg is also gonna have to find his way into the back of the net soon. Other than that, I think our offense is looking much stronger and we had a lot of good chances against a very strong Boston team in their home turf. I’m still looking forward to this season
Both losses were unequivocally because of dumb fuck penalties
Our schedule fucking blows to start a new year from a win/loss perspective.
In the other hand, these guys are getting thrown in the fire and holding their own while putting up some shots. I’m not concerned unless I see a similar performance against a team like San Jose next week.
I figured we would lose to Tampa and the Bruins but I didn’t think it would be close. Consolation prize, doesn’t mean anything, just happy to see this team competitive.
Not here for the upvotes but I’m soooo down for this team to lose every game in this fashion. We DO NOT need to make the playoffs. What we need is a season of losing close games, giving our guys great experience, and then finally getting a fucking lottery pick.
We’re not going to win a cup. We’re better off going 0-82.
I’m happy even with the L. This team is fun and exciting to watch – just got to get the PP fixed
I think the casters have a stutter the kept saying “save made by Saros” a lot.
Missed the game tonight. In 3 words or less, give the honest report: how do you feel about us?
Three games into a season with a new head coach and we went toe for toe with one of the best home-ice teams in the league, without calls going our way. I for one have been really impressed with our team and loved watching this game.
Also loved Chris Mason calling Marchand a Thespian.
In case anyone was wondering how the baby Preds are doing, the Ads just took their *ninth* penalty of the evening 😂
So how about that PP?
82 game player was in da house!
