I was not able to watch this game but by the looks of it Blackwood had a fantastic game. The starter's crease could be his for the taking. It was nice to see Bords get his first goal. Looking to him to be a big part of our future.

As a Devils fan, I've been saying since last season that NJ should've given Blackwood more chances and kept him. The only reason why he wasn't good in NJ is because he hasn't been healthy ever since he got COVID, and now he's healthy again. The last time he was healthy, he led the league in SV%. Letting him go was a mistake.
Avs played with a lot of heart in this game.
Blackwood did not deserve to lose but neither did Georgiev.
Both teams just need to work on that offense.
