Nice to see the baseball guy has actually paid attention. Clearly the "hockey guy" hasn't watched any of the completely televised preseason.
Poitras scored again last night, was killing penalties and is good on faceoffs
He's in a great opportunity in the OHL. Give him his 8 or 9 NHL games then send him back to Guelph. Tell him to put on weight. His OHL team is a cup contender and he's all over Team Canada's WJC radar. He'll play in big games in junior.
Kids looking good!!? Definitely earned a shot at the big club!!? We'll see how his 9 game window goes!? If he keeps putting up points like he has in preseason then he'll probably stick around for the season!? But worst case he goes back to Guelph for another season and gets bulked up a lil and comes back in next season and makes the team!? I'm rooting for the kid!!? He's been impressive so far!? Lohrei and Beecher have been good too!? I'm rooting for all 3 of em they all have possibility of being good NHL players!!?

Coyle is so underrated to me, maybe not point wise rn but he is so hard to knock off the puck, great playmaker, has a good shot, but has zero confidence in himself, he has shown more confidence in the playoffs when he played on the first line, I think he will have a breakout year and play 2nd line, him, marchy and jd are very well together too
We need the youth on the team full time.
Poitras will be the third string centre.
