Blackwood had always the talent to be a good starting, when not even elite, goaltender in the league. Not only injuries, he also was sometimes his own worst enemy. Sometimes he just "blacked out" from one game to another and looked all of a sudden like a beer league tender. I really hope this fresh start in SJ will be his turning point.
It would be nice if Matthews keeps up a good goal scoring pace until the 10 game then he would have a shot at 50 goals in 50 games

The look on Shannon's face is the realization that the rising salary cap will mean nothing to teams in the future due to the fact they will simply give the next wave of players higher salaries, and the cycle repeats again and again….
Bruins need a 40 – 50 pnt 2nd line winger and need to ditch a D man. Gryz or Carlo to Vancouver, Garland to Boston via a 3rd team that gets some deep picks to retain a little cash. Plus Garland is from MA.
