Hawks have to be at least happy with a 2-2 record after these opening four games on the road, against some good teams in this league 😛 not completely sure why but Chicago has had good records against both Toronto and Pittsburgh the last few years..
Those were some confusing highlights 😅 scores went up and then down, as did the clock, with no explanations a few times.. interesting to see the Hawks able to shut down the Leafs like this..
The entire game looked like two mediocre junior teams playing their already-lost end-season. Not even close to NHL level. Boringest and quite very unskillful match
The Leafs are now winless when Matthews doesn't score a hat trick. That doesn't bode well for the rest of their season.

Bedard is looking better
Been watching the Blackhawks a bit early on this season b/c I've wanted to see Bedard, and while it's too early to make definitive statements, I can't complain about what I've seen from them through the first four road games. Won games in Pittsburgh and Toronto, and competed hard and well with Boston and Montreal. The vets they signed seem to be meshing well with the young guys on the team, which is exactly what they and the fans have to love to see.

I didn't understand the score/highlights in the last minute or so of the 3rd. Were there 2 disallowed goals?
Anyway, well played Chicago. Hopefully Leafs bounce back.
The Leafs win a few and then they have a day off and next time they are soft and lose. It's like they get hyped up by winning and have a celebration or something and they lose their edge.
Don't panic Leaf's fans, Matthews is still on pace to end the year with 0 assists… Go Leafs!
