McDavid has SHIT defense and goaltending behind him from 2015-2021. Now that's it's been 'figured out' he'll be better because of it.

It baffles me seeing people say "it's not even a highlight-reel goal". The timing and fluidity of the spin and presence of mind to track the puck and take it to the house all in basically one swift motion is pure ridiculousness.
is it just me or mcdavid doesnt seem as fast as he used to be; like top speed explosiveness, maybe hes just not interested in skating full speed and going for highlight reels by outrunning guys and instead focused on just scoring in different ways, setting up his teammates more efficiently and in different ways and just on winning?

That spin was not intentional. It was caused by Ryan McDonagh's stick and that should have been a delayed tripping penalty, but the closest referee didn't react. NHL is a fake sports league.

One even strength point and a minus three in three games played. Sure he’ll put up numbers with the help of the refs, just like last year. But as per usual his all around play leaves so much more to be desired. He may just be the most overrated player on the planet.

Why would the preds d go for a change when Mcdavid has speed coming up the ice? Honestly the buzz from that goal is wild for it being a massive D failure & him just nudging it further into the zone & just continuing forward motion.
We all hear about how great McDavid is all the time, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't recognise great performances like this one. Thanks for covering it, I might not have seen this goal otherwise.

Drai leading the league in points as the Oilers are 1-2 on the season, including an 8-1 blowout loss. People were comparing him to Malkin, but honestly… Malkin never challenged Crosby for best player on the team multiple years. Drai is legit on another level and he is by far my favourite player in the NHL.
This man's contract is up in 2 years and I am so scared for that day. He can command McDavid money if he chooses, he could captain his own team. Fuck I'm so lucky to get to watch him night in, night out, while he's on the team I cheer for.
