  1. Is there a player, past or present, NHL or AHL, that Craig Button doesn't know about?

  2. I am happy for boeser.. but considering how hard it has been to make a deal to free up some cap space to sign petterson, maybe if his star rises a little bit this season he might be our best chance to make a trade. If we can somehow manage to deal myers and garland also would be a bonus.

  3. I really thought rathbone could be an NHL player. Maybe still can but I thought he could be a samuel girard type

  4. I don't mind the new regime snagging a couple favourites from their old team but we are plucking out the beyond expired cans of beans from the back of a non-playoff team's pantry here. I'd rather they be throwing away stale prospects for picks…

  5. Rathbone has skills, but he also has Karlsson levels of turnovers. If he couldn't crack the Canucks blueline when it was terrible they had to move him, to give him a chance somewhere else. The fact that a lot of Penguins fans are upset about losing Friedman is a good sign, even if he's a 6-8 spot defenceman who will mostly play in the AHL.

Bedard has a reporter in his face every spare moment and anyone whining that he isn't giving interviews is on crack. Chicago did a good job surrounding him with some veterans right away and I've noticed those veterans also have more enthusiasm in their game from playing with the young phenom.
