  1. Talbot did not look good. It's just one game but he let in bad goals, looked uncomfortable and was out of position a lot.

  2. I am so proud of you Eddie we are blessed to have someone of your talent and dedication 😊 GKG!

  3. Big props to you Eddie for putting a show out while dealing with the C bug.
    🤜🏻💥🤛🏻
Also as many of have been saying, Laffy looks to be the real deal and has glimmers of Deader and Williams to his game. Absolutely awesome to see him seamlessly fit not only on that line, but in the NHL.
He may be donning his college #14 full time sooner than later.

  4. I think team got worse from last goaltending not as strong it’s still early but maybe overpaid 3 players for one

  5. Coach Todd absolutely got clown shoes on behind the bench.

Starting Talbot? Good God dude, maybe ease him into the action?

And putting your top 3 centers on the 1st pp unit….. What a gong show

  6. Copley Won 24 Games The Team Would Not Have Otherwise Even Surpassing Quick's REcord for 20 Wins in like 29 games or something. Your disrespect is clearly a reason why team needs to rid itself of Blakeites like yourself and LAKIes. Talbot was abysmal all those goals were weak but should have let in 6 or 7 as was beat by Colorado who missed open nets or corners too. I agree Cam Wont Win Any Games for LA. Arvy Under sized useless injury Prone player anyway. Lizzy Burden at 5'5 making 1.8M could not even play 8 Minutes down a forward but Avs only played MacDermid 3 minutes. I'd rather have Durzi who is 1.7M over him. Playing a 7th round pick with 6th round is a 3rd pair. Call up Clarke team not making playoffs. Bustfield gets fluke goal hardly impressive. PP without Gabe's 6 GWGs or Arthur. Roy usually gives up SHG on PP like EDM.

  7. Agree that Talbot looked fine 1st game issues but like you said can't blame him for 3 of the 4 allowed, all world players made all world plays, that being said that was a very very entertaining game. LA controlled large portions of the game and other than Englunds foot speed (or lack there of) every one played well, i felt Bjornfot had a good game, he played to his strentghs, good positioning and strong skating, Laferriere had himself a game, did everything but score, and if not for Giorgiev would have, got a couple really nice looks at the net, had a fight which was apparently his 1st ever, he just looked like an NHL player, overall I thought LA played well as a whole, especially after the 1st period, they settled in and the Avalanche are a good team yet LA at times were better, alot to like, things to tighten up, but overall not a terrible start (for a 5-2 loss)

  8. I don't know what Talbot was doing on that 3rd goal. He ducked so low that my grandma could have scored with all that room at the top of the net. Analysts were also saying that the 1st goal should not have happened as Talbot did not square himself properly to the shooter. CT is a veteran so I don't know what he is doing. I'm already dreading putting my trust in him. It's just the Avs are back to their 2021 form. They have 3 probable hall of famers and other players that are very good. They are still the elife team in the NHL. The Kings are not going to beat them as is anyway unless they get elite goaltending and play great D. Byfield did look much better but he is playing faster than what his brain can process at times and needs to cool off a bit and let the game come to him. I liked those takeaways he had for scoring chances. Credit to the Avs, though. They are elite at both ends and will be at the top of the standing I am sure.

  9. It was everybody else's fault for the loss except for the Talbott that right Eddie sure that would b good way not to make it a point of your ridiculous philosophy of not needing a #1 goalie to win games let alone a Stanley cup the kings r going to b underdogs because of goaltending to to atleast 25 out of the 32 teams in the league good job blake booo 👎

  10. I've been curious about the minutes Drew Doughty plays, and is that pair with Mikey Anderson really kings #1 defensive line? Going back to last season, I was more impressed with Gavrikov and Roy, especially in the playoffs. Also, 26 minutes for Doughty last night, I think, is a bit much. I know Kings 3rd pair wasn't exactly what we expected, but still, as Doughty gets older, I think his minutes should decrease. Makar, for instance, played 22 minutes and was much more effective. And yes, I know avs used 7 defensemen, but it still seems like Drew is overplayed and might be more effective if his minutes were cut down a bit. I'm curious if anyone else sees this as an issue.

  11. It’s definitely Talbots fault. Dude isn’t a good goalie and we need to stop making excuses. Watch him play and you’ll see he isn’t good, he was down on his knees sooooooo early, slow, bad positioning, so many more problems.

  12. I honestly couldnt agree more with your logic behind Talbot just having to be solid like Copley was last year. But that being said, If we want Talbot to be Copley last year…. maybe we just start Copley? lol

  13. The 2nd unit was hurt not only because of Arvidsson being out, but Roy is more of a stay at home defenseman with some offensive upside through the Kings system 5 on 5 . He is not a puck moving offensive defenseman.

The Kings power play plays 4 forwards and 1 right handed defensemen, but that defenseman is usually a puck moving D. Not a stay at home.

Kings need Clarke or Spence back. I expect at least 1 to return by Saturday. As far as missing Arvi, they'll just have to work on it.
