  1. that is the worst game i have watched them play in over 2 years. beauvilliere, pettersson, and kuzmenko mailed it in. pettersson appeared to be pouting through most of the game.

  2. I’ve been a lifelong Canucks fan and the last 2 games are concerning because it’s the same problems that have plagued this team for years. Being wildly outshot and giving up countless premium scoring chances.

  3. They were scrambling and on their heels the whole game. But it’s only game 3. Give them time to figure their sht out

  4. Off night canucks been outshot out played in there own end Benning core still here should of loss Saturday 2-8 lose next 6 flyers referees favored Been out hit

  5. Myers is absolutely TOXIC; he's such a damper for this team. The entire team play nervous when he's on the ice cuz they all know he will turn it over almost every time he's pressured. We've seen this for the last 3 years now. putting aside the teams effort tonight was PATHETIC… as long as Myers is on the ice 'nucks HAVE HUGE PROBLEMS. JUST GIVE HIM AWAY….PAY HIM TO LEAVE LIKE WE DID FOR OEL.

  6. Petterson got roughed up early then disappeared. Vancouver might benefit from a heavyweight up front for nights like this

  7. Still early and it's one game. Yeah I am concerned with the performance, however Demko went demigod mode, pk killed penalties and depending how you look at it you could say the refs were maybe biased?

Plus it was a home opener and their first game on the east coast, philly was gonna be swinging and would it be a big ask to start a road trip with b2b home opener upsets following b2b snubbing of the Oilers? Idk I feel like I'm just rationalizing at this rate lol

  8. Canucks NEED to get rid of Myers, I’m really surprised nobody is talking about how many Myers giveaways there was in this game. Yeah he wasn’t the only one that sucked but he was the worst of all

  9. Isn’t a penalty shot awarded if the attacking player is impeded in a way they are unable to get a decent shot away in a breakaway?

If it was Couturier who's stick broke instead of Petey's, I totally understand that and he still had a very good break way opportunity with a good shot on goal this had to be one of the worst penalty shot calls I've had ever seen.

  10. Looked like the team had a wake and bake breakfast, but forgot to invite Demko, lol. That all seemed to end between the 2nd and 3rd periods when Tock's pep talk lite a fire under their asses. Too bad the Garland goal wasn't ligit, could have made for a real good third. The only bright spots were the PK and Demko , who makes the PK even better. Maybe the Jack Rathbone trade is a bad omen!

  11. I have to give credit to the Flyers playing relentless. They didn’t give the Canucks anything, it was just continuous pressure. Sad performance by the whole team except for Demko. Myers should absolutely get healthy scratched next game and the same goes with Juulsen.

  12. I knew as soon as they were outshot so badly against Edmonton (Despite winning) that they were already slipping back into old habits. lol Surprised the Flyers were the one to do it. I guess they thought they could coast past them.. Who knows.

  13. I feel like the timezone really messed with them pettey looked bad hughes looked bad the rest of the team was Mediocre just throwing the puck away to get pressure off and change only good thing tonight was Demko was insaneeeeeeeeeee but I bet they play better next game the timezone really mess with players there diet what they do before games how early they start this is a team that's used to playing at 7pm not 3pm so I give them the benefit of the doubt

  14. Could be that getting used to a new time zone hurts them…I expect them to come out hungry in Tampa though.
