Shocked that wasn't a boarding major. I don't get this committed to the hit then the guy turns his numbers, the onus should always be on the hitting player to avoid a hit on a vulnerable player. Yet the Kings get a 2 min PP as Englund assessed 2 + 10 for instigating. Refs should do their job and call that hit what it was – boarding

Don’t care if the guy turned that’s still a 2 minute minor. Not a major cause it doesn’t seem like he has a malicious intent. But you’re still suppose to be responsible for your actions. If I trip or high stick a guy, I’m not trying it, but I’m still getting dinged cause I’m suppose to have control of my stick at all times. As this feller is supposed to not rock him from behind. Turning or not.
As a Kings fan, I apologize for the boarding. I don’t believe it was on purpose, nor that it was meant to be a boarding, but I hope your player is alright jet fans. Not sure why it wasn’t at least a minor, maybe the refs missed it or thought the jets player could have done more to avoid being boarded?
The problem was there was no penalty called for the hit which is bullshit these refs are so inconsistant its pathetic
