I think Klingberg might be worst than Holl….

  2. StaticR0ute

So when do we start to panic? I need to know!

  3. Longjumping-Pen4460

    Klingberg is so fucking bad.

  4. thewolfshead

On the bright side, all of our new guys look bad.

  5. hellarios852

Will we ever score first again?

  6. bspaghetti

Say what you want about the game, but man that third period was entertaining.

  7. jdragon3

we need some sort of a negotiated resolution/middle ground between our forwards that will only shoot if they have an open net and our dmen that will only shoot if there’s at least six sets of legs directly in their shot path

  8. HowieFeltersnitz

I’m sure there will be all kinds of level headed takes in here lol

  9. ProfessorBeast55

Klingberg was utterly DOGSHIT. Additionally, what the FUCK were those shot attempts in the last 2 minutes??? KEEP IT MOVING AND FIND A LANE; DONT JUST FIRE AT WILL

  10. labadee

Pretty predictable no show by the leafs. Disappointing. On to the next

  11. cappo40

Florida is the Leafs new bogey team

  12. hoggaamiye

at least the leafs are still in postseason form…

  13. leaffs

Keefe’s leafs have been dog shit in October the last two years, and it looks like the same will happen this year. If anything, winning the first two games was weird…They’ll sort in out in the next couple of weeks.

  14. ElephantShell34

Leafs got worse. Rest of the division got better. Do the math on that and stop with the “doesn’t matter til the playoffs “.

  15. rahibloveslife

We historically do terrible in October. On to the next one

  16. AduroPinquis

Playing from behind is already getting exhausting. Leafs are making things way harder for themselves by consistently letting in the first goal of the game after dumb mistakes.

  17. DeathEater91

They let themselves be pushed around and bullied as if they were still in round 2 of last year, absolutely embarrassing.

Reaves did nothing in a game where his biggest impact should have been made, Simmonds 2.0

  18. buzzeddimitri

    sheldon keefe.

    that is all

  19. Hulkcini

They gotta stop falling behind. I don’t understand why this team has issues with scoring the first goal.

  20. SaccharineDaydreams

    What a fucking anticlimactic game

  21. Movieandtvfan

Bringing back keefe was such a brain dead decision.

  22. madworld2713

The #3 is actually cursed, we should just retire it at this point

  23. TheBigSm0ke

Klingberg setting world record speed for becoming the new Jake Gardener.

This guy is a fucking black hole on defense and has almost no offensive ability besides shoot the puck directly into a defender.

  24. Intelligent_Chair901

We are so fucked with Klingberg if he isn’t going to contribute a lick offensively. Not sure how Treliving can get out of this one.

  25. espher

I’m tempering my overreactions because it *is* only four games in and some other teams that should be strong are also absolute dogshit, but uhhhh I am really struggling to find positives to say about the new acquisitions.

They have not looked good at all since preseason, and that’s super worrying for our ‘depth’.

  26. CamThompson

That felt like the playoffs all over again. Generally a pretty tight game, give up our only goals against in quick succession, generate some chances, unable to beat Bobrovsky. Feel like May to anyone else?

Still need to see a lot more from the support offense pieces brought in to help. Bertuzzi has been mediocre, Domi has been horrendous, even Knies you’d like to see more from.

Better defensive effort at least, McCabe especially looked improved and Sammy wasn’t as bad as he had been in the first two. Some progress, some regression, see y’all Saturday.

  27. ElDobre97

I would be far more worried if Domi, Klingberg, Bertuzzi were signed to long-term deals. They are easily tradeable if need be. The biggest worry is the Reaves contract.

  28. theguyishere16

Its only 4 games but I have some MASSIVE concerns. Absolutely none of the new guys are clicking. Bertuzzi, Domi and Klingberg have been bad or non-existent. Reaves plays 6 minutes and so doesn’t really matter. Keefe trusts no one besides the big 4 and is going to play them into the earth if this continues. And the defence is concerning. The aforementioned Klingberg has been bad, McCabe looks worse than last year and Gio’s age is finally showing. I am concerned but hoping « its just early »

  29. Anus_Garage

No response to Nylander being boarded tells me this is the same team that will fail in the playoffs.

  30. Daimyon

eehh… At least Sammy looked better?

  31. Camarama421

Gregor is genuinely the best off-season addition lol

  32. sellethan

at least we’re not the oilers

  33. elifreeze

Reaves and Klingberg stinking isn’t good but it at least makes sense and was predictable. Domi and Bertuzzi being bad is a catastrophe.

  34. Dergle_McChurgleson

Keefe seriously needs to go. I’m so fucking sick of this god damn team cheesedicking night in and night out, showing up when they please. And no, it hasn’t been 4 games. It’s been 7 fucking years.

  35. swint6996

Keefe’s gotta find some lines that work.

Matthews – Marner, Tavares – Nylander ain’t it. Doesn’t matter if it works every once in a while… we know that it won’t pan out in the long run.

We have depth, but what’s the point of having depth if the only thing you’re ever going to change is the left winger on your first and second line.

  36. Fine_Grind

4 games in, and people are saying trade everyone… jesus christ lol relax

  37. BeefJoe12

After the empty net goal the Leafs should have been looking for vengeance for Knies injury from last year…..the fact that this game didn’t end with a bunch of 5 minute majors is concerning for me.
