I’ll take it, but damn do we just find the most creative ways to not score.

  2. Morphik1

YEESH that could have been bad at the end.

Oh well we take those GFG

  3. Comfortable-Ad-7158

Please don’t touch that forth line, huska.

We need to grow chemistry, and that fourth line was filthy.

  4. GrafNebelgeist

The boys held on and got it done.

A real relief! Damn, it is nice to win!

Now a chance to make the road trip a great one tomorrow!

  5. Choice_Butterfly_518

Wasn’t able to watch but just saw flames won and looked at the box score…0/5 on the PP? Any good chances at least or are we back to MullerVille?

  6. Comfortable-Lock-726

    0/5 on the powerplay.

I feel like we getting good chances. I’ll be more patient.

  7. psychedelicfoo

Big win. Lots of work to do but lots to build off as well.

  8. ripyungdaggerdick

Those backlund breakaways were brutal, jesus

    A win’s a win.

Ruzicka has 4 points in 4 games; dude is a legit offensive talent and should be considered as such.

Vladar doesn’t seem to get the best goaltending stats but he’s usually good at holding onto a win. That’s really all you can ask for from a backup.

    Shara. Greersy. Walker.

Ladies and gentlemen, your 2023-24 Calgary Flames 1st line.

  11. psychedelicfoo

Our powerplay needs work. Hopefully figure it out sooner than later

  12. The_Lazy_J

Road w , and we are off to say hi to Johnny tomorrow. Hope the boys build off this.

  13. buchsy45

    That game was greeeeeeheeeheeeeasy

Entertaining game though. Glad we got the W

  14. Rulebreaker15

    A win’s a win. Solid effort.

    Highs:

4th line is amazing and needs a better name.

    PK is strong.

    Faceoffs continue to outperform.

    Lows:

Kadri., except when he draws penalties.

D needs to get it together.

Sin bin visits need to slow way down.

  15. lokimotion

Team is .625 to start the season with a chance to go .700 tomorrow, despite new systems and lines.

    Huberdeau is a ppg player

Yet to see some of the comments online, you’d think they’re 0-4 and every player is shite 🤷‍♂️ .

Anyhow good, gutsy win on the road against a desperate sabres team. Onwards and upwards

  16. Master-Defenestrator

Good game, Im happy with most guys tonight. Very pleased with Ruzicka’s game so far this season. He and Dube are playing well despite dragging Kadri’s disinterested ass around all game.

  17. Vinny331

So when you score 4, up to 12 pts can be awarded.

We ended up with 12 different guys getting 1 pt tonight.

    I think that’s a good sign right?

  18. Huby scores, flames win by one in regulation time. I can’t help but think of how many more wins the flames would have had last year if he would have scored anywhere near his regular pace to avoid all those OT losses. Good to see. For now anyway.

  19. The rare perfect night in hockey. Flames W with an Oilers, Canucks, and Leafs L.

  20. Neckshot

Still pretty rough around the edges but have the feeling this team will be good in another 10 games if things start to click and they settle into the system.

If we can sit above .50 till then I think we’re in a good position.

  21. etherealexperience

Gilbert’s been pretty good as a sixth Dman.

  22. Paulhockey77

Is anyone else really concerned about Kadri? He doesn’t have it and looks like he just gave up
