Chronic trouble exiting their own zone again. Woody says growing pains I say no time for that in todays NHL. The problem is the Fans cannot see how hard defensively the Oilers are trying, but it will not look like it, because Traditional Defensive tightening up means more consistent hitting and finishing checks(but not for the Oilers). However to produce more defense the Oilers just tweaked their existing System (thereby screwing it all up) which means they will project harder work on defense by better stick checks and Gaps and Zone positioning. Not the Traditional hard heavy hitting and bodychecks. So we can all relax I see everyone working hard out there every Game it just isnt in the form of explosive game changing bodychecks, they are doing the things their Coaches asked no one is coasting we can all see that, so maybe its time to ask them do do something different. Connor just needs to work hard every night, things will spin round soon, right?
