The 2 empty net goals were total lapse mistakes can be easily fixed. Mark Schiefele with the "Gordie Howe Hat Trick". He is more engaged so far this season.
Love the pressure the Jets are able to play the whole way through. We need to fix some d line issues. But a much better step in a positive direction.
Morrissey was actually on the bench for that shorthanded goal. The commentators were saying he should have gotten an assist because he handed Lowry his stick as he skated by. Similar to the Mitch Marner goal assisted by the leafs equipment guy a year or two ago. This one was fun though because Lowry was using Morrissey’s stick which was obviously way too short for him.
Can’t wait for the power rankings tonight! I need that sense of normalcy in my life right now.
Lowry had no stick and grabbed a stick at full speed from the bench while kicking the puck to himself. Morrisey was not on ice he handed him his stick from the bench.
Great stuff as always. Would you consider (or can you?) Do your recaps with some video highlights ?

Yeah the suck-o-meter reading of the refs in that game had to be at least 7 or 8 vacs.
Can't believe you didn't have more to say about that short-handed goal – though glad you credited Morrissey with an assist.
Crazy game, seemed like neither team really ever set up – just frenetic and opportunistic play.
Really thought the Jets were going to choke after being up 5-2.
