How does it compare to NFL and MLB postseason schedules? Maybe this is to avoid overlapping too much with other pro sports audiences.

For having games on a Saturday…?
I hate everything about the new app updates. I hate that the default home page is league news instead of my team. What’s the point of having a favorite team set if I have to make multiple clicks to get to their homepage. I’m strongly considering just deleting it entirely.

Just made a post, the rangers have a week break between Columbus and New Jersey, but then have 6 back to backs in the last 4 weeks of the year

Why would they try to compete with NCAAFB on Saturday or the NFL on Sunday?
There is no “who” that makes the schedule, Arena Management provides the dates that are available and all of the information is put into a computer along with the special events like the Winter Classic and the computer makes the schedule. Pretty much every arena is used for other sports and concerts/events.
Especially the night with no NFL or CFB we have two mid at best games

Heavy nights are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
Every other night has a handful of games, usually 1-4. This isn’t new.
This just in! Some nights there are only a couple games, other nights there are many. It’s an 82 game schedule spread over 7 months. People just love to complain don’t they.

I was just saying why is there 2 games today, 2 games on sunday but like 20 on saturday?

Youre tellin me 12 games one day and 2 the next was a bad idea!?
Is this about the 15 games tomorrow, or that we have 4 starting at 4 and 5 starting at 5 while having no games starting at 8 or later, no games starting between 1 and 4, and no staggered starts.
God that app sucks
