What the fuck was he thinking with this hit, just a terrible decision.

It’s important to talk about it.

It’s pretty clear Ras went for a big hit with meaningless seconds left in the game. I doubt he was head hunting as to me it looks like Laine lowers his head as he goes for the empty net goal, but the end result is a dangerous elbow to the head. And it’s Ras’ responsibility to avoid making a dangerous hit.

    Not good result.

Just his response to an attempted stat pad, Laine has struggled mightily at centre this year.

HOWEVER, not the smartest hit to throw, fun to see this chippy shit from Ras but this will probably get him a couple games. WE NEED HIM FOR THE HC

Meh you have to keep your head up at anytime of the game.

Laine just got hit on the blind side with his head gone downward toward his shot.

    He will just get fined

I think he’s gonna be suspended, some ppl on r/hockey are calling for 4+ games but I’d think only 2 since Anderson doesn’t have a history for this kinda thing

  6. Dirty. Going to be more than two games for sure. I don’t believe he is a repeat offender so that will play in his favour. No need for this in the game.

I’d bet he gets one game max. If Laine isn’t halfway bent over this isn’t even talked about

I like Ras, but this is bull shit and he should get 2 but will probably get 1 since he doesn’t have a track record for this type of shit

Don’t defend this guys, if this was reversed and was a hit on our player you would all be screaming bloody murder.

Ras clearly doesn’t want to go back to Detroit

    That’s a game at least. Maybe 2.

Regardless, if Andersson is suspended, they had better call up Poirier or Solovyov and play them instead of Oesterle.
